Lots of snow, no members, half day

The sound of the snow ploughs woke me at 6 this morning. I looked out of the cabin window to see lots of huge flakes floating down and a snow plough travelling far too fast over the speed bumps in the car park... Looked like a powder day.

Nobody turned up today, we waited around for a while after the meeting time but I think the guys I skied with yesterday needed to rest their legs. So, it was just Gaelle and me and we decided to take it easy and enjoy the new snow.

There was around 6-8" of fresh snow and we stayed low and started by playing around under Apres Vous. It was very quiet. After Apres Vous we cut across to Casper and played on the pistes there; first time I've skied those pistes but the new snow on the grooming made it seem rude not to. We had a coffee break and then did some laps in the Moran Woods, the snow was awesome and pretty much untracked. By now we were both a little tired and decided to take an early day...
