Christmas day ski, or not

The plan today was to get up early so that we got some good skiing in the morning and then went for lunch by the lake. Unfortunately when we got to the Ardent lift it wasn't running... There was not a great deal of information available so we sat in a bar drinking coffee for a while...

By the time the lift was running properly, Tracey, Phil and I had decided that we wouldn't bother skiing today. It was late, the nicely groomed runs would have been skied out and the crowds would have arrived. We left the holidaying guests to ski and went back to the appartment. I lazed in the bath for a while, looked over my packing and began to prepare for departure and fiddled around with the mp3s for the car; a nice lazy morning.

The guys that skied had fun, it wasn't as busy as we were expecting. We drove out to pick them up around 2ish and then headed to the restaurant for a very pleasant Christmas lunch. Then it was back to the appartment for Monsters Inc., more Mousetrap and Chris' quiz..
