The plan was to get up early and get to the lifts by 8.30... We got there around 9.30 in the end... The visibility today was pretty poor as most of the mountain was in cloud. It was cold, damp but with no real new snow happening, and we couldn't really see a great deal.
We met up with Dave, one of the guys that will be on Phil and Tracey's gap BASI course with them, and his brother Mark. Dave's an 18 year old, twin tip, park-rat, kinda dude who skis really well and seems pretty fearless (i.e. he throws himself off jumps and kickers with abandon). We had a good morning skiing around as a group of 6 (Glen was still here) and though we couldn't see a great deal the snow was good and it wasn't too busy. We stopped at lunch time and came back to the appartment for something to eat and then went shopping. The plan was to get Phil a new jacket, we failed, and to get me a pair of Scott Mission skis, we failed...
