We spent the morning in knee deep powder making our own tracks. Unfortunately we were down by the lake doing transciever searches with Kathy...
The morning was good fun, once we stopped bitching about the fact that everyone else was skiing the new snow and we were trampling around in it. We covered basic transciever searches and multiple burials and were then timed on our ability to do simple searches. All useful stuff and it was good to get some more practice in.
Once we'd finished we skied all afternoon, non-stop, without lunch, off-piste, taking it in turns to lead. The skiing was good and fast and by the time we had finished we had skied enouth to feel that the day was almost a full ski day.
