The snow last night was accompanied by strong winds and although the snow had stopped this morning the winds hadn't. As a result, the lift openings were delayed until after 9.30 and when they did open only Rosolin was open... Everyone in resort on the two T-bars and one blue run...
Blair gamely set a short slalom course and even took his glove off in the freezing winds to video us as we skied it. The snow was compact and quite solid to ski and so doing slalom on it wasn't as bad as we expected. Away from our course it got choppy pretty quickly. The winds were pretty bad up at the top of the run (where the gates were) and made the whole thing pretty miserable. The lifts were busy (until lots of people gave up and went home) but in the end we skied for around 3 hours and did five or six runs on the course. We then had some video analysis in the restaurant and then headed home for an early day.
