A half day's skiing at La Hoya today, this afternoon we head out for Trevelin, the start of our journey home. Most of the gang spent the morning in the park, perfecting their 180s and rails and jumps, I decided that I'd rather just have a bit of a ski, so that's what I did.
My skiing today felt good. I felt more forward in all of my turns and my ankles felt more flexed and my hands seemed to stay up and in the right place. The main problem with free skiing in La Hoya at the moment is that there isn't a great deal of terrain; sure there's lots of off-piste but it's not especially friendly right now. Anyway, I skied for a while then went to the park and did a few more jumps on the rollers, I figured that was pretty safe as I wasn't pushing myself too hard and I wasn't getting that much air.
Near the end of the day Andy, one of the snowboarders, took a fall after jumping one of the rollers. He landed badly, with a straight leg and hurt his knee. Hopefully it's not too serious, right now he's hobbling around on a crutch...
