Another day in the terrain park and today's focus was on doing 180s on the rollers. We started by riding the rollers backwards to get a feel for riding backwards. After one run of that several of us went off to practice our 'switch' skiing on the slope next to the park.
Once we were reasonably comfortable with skiing backwards we tried to jump from the rollers and rotate 180 and land on the back of the roller and then ski switch to the next roller. Some people were pretty good straight away; Paula's first couple of attempts were good, as were Steph's and Tom's (though Tom has previous form). I found that I was too nervous to commit to the rotation (scared of twisting my knee on landing) so I decided that, like the rails yesterday, I knew enough to try again at a more sensible time.
Ant, however, got really into it and eventually got damn good at his 180s, here's a hacked together picture of him in flight...

I stuck with some more easy jumps off of the rollers, although I didn't get that much air the shape of the rollers meant that you stayed in the air for quite a while...

After the jumping I did some free skiing until lunch and found that lots of the minor adjustments that I've been making seem to have stuck and that I now do them without needing to think about it too much, which is a good thing as it means I can move on to the next set of minor adjustments that are required...
After lunch I free skied again and then got a little bored with the limited terrain, this was made worse by the fact that some of the lifts were put on hold due to wind. We stopped for a coffee break and then skied home.
Thanks to Tom for the pictures.
