Esquel Day 2 - Giant Slalom

Today we did some giant slalom, all of us found this easier than the slalom. Given that I'm working on not hurting myself I didn't push it too much, as a result I controlled my speed a little too much and skidded too much. After practicing for a while we did two timed runs and I finished somewhere near the middle of the rankings which was good enough for me. The snow was good, harder than yesterday so there was much less rutting which made for easier practice. After the giant slalom was done we practiced our "downhill" tuck, taking a straightish run from quite high up the steep red where the course was and holding the tuck all the way to the bottom, when you get it right it was nice and stable.
