Happy Birthday to me...

It's that time of year again...

This year I received three presents that were ski related and lots of great clothes (which, quite amazingly, all fit perfectly!).

The ski related stuff is as follows:

• Garmin MapSource United States TOPO - detailed maps for outdoor people that covers the whole of the US. This will be handy for our forthcoming Colorado trip! I wish they did the same kind of thing for Europe!


• Free-heel Skiing (Telemark Techniques for All Conditions S.) which looks like a great source of information about telemark.


• An "Agent" Ski lock - Ever since I had a brand new, unskied, pair of skis stolen in Whistler I've had a bit of a thing about locking my skis. This year in Megève I managed to leave one of our locks in the snow after unlocking Miche's skis. This new lock looks like a pretty cool replacement.
