It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...

"In Colorado, so much snow has fallen that many mountain towns have piled it high on street corners and in parking lots. Hmm, and where are we off to shortly... ;) 21 feet of snow sounds pretty cool...

However, the many deaths this week in the French Alps provide a sobering counterpoint to the fun that can be had from so much snow. If it hasn't fallen in such a way that the base can hold it then masses of snow is a truly dangerous phenomenon. Be aware, be afraid and be safe.
