Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Well, from the look of some of the webcams and weather reports the winter is starting in the Alps.

Now that the snow has started again I think it has probably just become harder to be stuck back here in London...

It's actually quite unusual for us not to have skied already by now; we've been doing Warren Smith courses in September in Saas-Fee for a while now but the dates didn't work this year... So it's nearly December and we haven't yet skied this season, boo hoo! We were hoping for a sneaky weekend before Christmas but I think we're just too busy for that to happen. It looks like we'll have to wait until we're back in Megève in late Jan for our first tracks of the 2005/2006 season. Seven weeks seems like a long time to wait, but at least we then have our Colorado trip booked for 3 weeks later.

The Colorado trip now consists of a few days in Keystone followed by the main event in Snowmass where we'll be skiing with Brian and Helena who skied with us in Megève last March. After 9 days or so in Snowmass we're spending a couple of days in Vail on the way back to Denver; last time we were there Miche really enjoyed the back bowls and we're planning to explore those a bit more this time. I'm really looking forward to the trip. It will be nice to be able to revisit Keystone and Vail and have a whole new resort to explore at Snowmass.
