Back for nearly 3 months now

The views from my window are still depressing compared to the mountain views that we had from the apartment in Megève but I think we're both slowly coming down to earth now. The dream of going on to ski the "summer" season in Argentina never materialised; mainly because I'd rather put in the ground work so that we might be able to do another Megève season and partly because our legs were pretty worn out :)

I'm not sure what's going to happen with this blog now. Until the next season in Megève I think I'll just use it to write about the ski stuff that would otherwise have appeared on my techie blog.

Being back is being made a little easier by the fact that we have our first 2005/2006 season trip booked now. We're off to stay with Lucy in her Original Ski Luxury Chalet in Megève in late Jan 2006. This will be a big, 10 person, family trip and we're all looking forward to it.

We had hoped to do another Warren Smith Ski Academy course in Saas-Fee this year but the dates didn't work for us. We've skied with Warren a few times now; 2003 in Saas-Fee, 2004 in Saas-Fee and 2004 in Verbier, and we are now keen to see what 85 days on snow last season has done to our technique. Hopefully we can sneak an early season weak in with him in Verbier...
