Slippages at Cote 2000

The warm weather has continued to cause "slippages" around Cote 2000. Today the Marmotte black was closed due to an avalanche and the risk of more.

The off-piste that we skied with Lucy on 15th March was closed today due to the avalanche risk.

A small slide had taken the snow right back to the frozen grass just to the skiers left of where I'd come down with Lucy on my second trip down. The bumps to the left of the picture are the lower section of the Marmotte black, the Cote 2000 chair can be seen top right.

Taking a closer look at the slide it looks like it could have been caused by someone jumping from the rocks above, but who knows.
