We had a bit of a late start this morning and by the time we got to the Jaillet car park it was full. We drove up to the ticket office and managed to find a space on the road near the main lift; possibly nearer than if we'd have been in the car park...
We did one run down the red from the top of the Christomet chair and the conditions were decidedly slushy lower down; damn south facing slopes and lovelly spring weather... We decided to head straight over to Le Torraz as it was higher and the slopes are more northerly facing. The run down Tréffèannaise was pretty busy as we seemed to have managed to pick the peak time to travel across. We skied off of Torraz for a while and then headed back for lunch at the Table du Skier restaurant at the main Jaillet bubble.
After lunch we skied some runs we'd not skied before off of the Jouty chair lift. The snow on these was good and the runs, a red and a black, were interesting and fun. We played around here for most of the afternoon and then headed home.
