Maria had a lesson first thing this morning so we skied with Milky on the blues and reds around the Monts Rossets lift. The weather was good today, at least 5'C warmer and sunny, which was a pleasant change. It was nice and quiet, so quiet that sometimes we wouldn't see another skier on the slope for the whole chair ride back up. Nice. Milky had his lesson after lunch so we took Maria on the reds off of the Edudiants drag lift. This was also nice and quiet until around 3pm when these and the runs from Mont Joux were the only ones left in the sun and everyone decided to ski them...
The day was good fun and it was nice to be able to offer the odd piece of advice to the guys and then see them improve when they did what we said - this instructor lark could be interesting ;)
On the steeper reds off of Etudiants I worked on my hip angulation on steeper slopes and it seemed to solve the falling over thing - though, of course, not falling over doesn't prove I wont fall over... The slight juddering is definitely a weight slightly back thing and nolw that I know what causes it it's easy enough to fix. The debugged version of the new stance is much more stable at speed and in difficult situations which was the point of the tearing apart and rebuilding exercise...
