John and Janine's last day today and their flight was early afternoon so we hit the slopes early and came back after lunch to see them off. As I sit here writing this the sky is clearing at last and we can see Jaillet for the first time in ages; looks nicely skiable now.
When I saw the outside temperature glowing on the ceiling this morning I thought that the cloud must have cleared; it was -5'C first thing, it's been around 0 for the last few days. No such luck, it was just cold and cloudy rather than simply cloudy. The visibility was similar to yesterday; reasonable if the run was in the trees and flat and indistinct if it was open. We burned around on nicely groomed runs with a couple of inches of fresh on top and dipped into the knee deep stuff around the edges. A nice day, these B2s work well...
