Mostly groomed with a few inches of fresh

John and Janine's last day today and their flight was early afternoon so we hit the slopes early and came back after lunch to see them off. As I sit here writing this the sky is clearing at last and we can see Jaillet for the first time in ages; looks nicely skiable now.

When I saw the outside temperature glowing on the ceiling this morning I thought that the cloud must have cleared; it was -5'C first thing, it's been around 0 for the last few days. No such luck, it was just cold and cloudy rather than simply cloudy. The visibility was similar to yesterday; reasonable if the run was in the trees and flat and indistinct if it was open. We burned around on nicely groomed runs with a couple of inches of fresh on top and dipped into the knee deep stuff around the edges. A nice day, these B2s work well...
