Michelle, Chris and I all skied with Lucy this morning. The idea was to have some guiding around the area, jump some lift queues and pick up a few technique tips, very low-key instruction, nice and easy.
Given the snow conditions and the fact that it was a weekend and the Geneva crowd were in town, Lucy's remit was to find us some good snow and quiet pistes. We skied on Mont d'Arbois first thing; sking down Vardasse to the Arbois lift and then back down M Dujon to the same lift. The snow was good and since we were up on the first lift we were skiing untouched couderoy for the first couple of runs. Once we'd warmed up we skied down Raviers to the Croix lift and then took Rolles, a red which was steeper than the M Dujon black but had some flatter spots which overall took the rating down to red. After that we did some more that I can't remember and then headed over to ski under the Mt Joux chair, then back to the top to take the Voltigeurs black down to the drag and then down one of the reds to the base of Mont d'Arbois so that Lucy could meet up with Michelle's mum.
We then crossed over to Rochebrune where we did one run down Olympique before a lunch of Diots (sausages) and chips topped off with a beer. After lunch we went did a couple of hours of technique practice on Fontaine before heading for home. All in all a good day.
