The weather was wonderful. Unfortunately we were there to ski and not to sun bathe... The weather would have been great for a last minute, end of season trip where there was plenty of snow around to slowly melt away, but this was the 4th December and the slopes were still very bare...

In summary, it was all far too green...

There was some snow up top though, not a lot...

We we shown lots of chutes and steeps that, had the snow been better we'd have been taken down on our course... It kinda makes you thankful that the snow wasn't better ;)

There were four lifts open which provided access to two pistes. This actually turned out to be fine as we were on a course and the pistes concerned had a decent selection of gradients and conditions so we were quite able to do all of the drills on the available terrain...

Lots of the lower snow was artificial and the snow canons were being flown around the mountain under helicopters so that the snow could be distributed appropriately. Note to self, when a chopper is hovering just above you it gets windy...

On the last run down on the Tuesday afternoon I had a tumble, probably my fifth fall of the day (we were practicing a new technique and, well, I was giving it my all and sometimes that was too much). Unfortunately I managed to twist my knee. This is the bruising... The pain was on the other side... I rested for two days and skied again OK on the Friday...

Michelle doing the Vogue thing. Note the Cylon Oakleys...

Us, in the sun, just before we came home...
